Michelle and Leeroy have created this memorial website in the memory of our beautiful and loving
son, Chad Lee Irving who was born in Haslingden, Rossendale on 3rd March 1989 and devastately taken
from us on 4th March 2006 at the age of 17.
Our hope is that this website will be visited often to serve as a celebration of his short life and
reflect all of the lives he touched in one way or the other, how much he was loved, cared for and is
missed by so many!
To say we will remember him forever is an understatement. He was and still is such a big part of our
lives just as he had a big personality and outlook on life.
‘We all love you so, so much, you are so precious to us; our hearts have snapped into 1,000
pieces and more.
‘You lit up our lives each and every day.
‘We are all so proud of you for what you achieved in the so very short time you were with us.
‘One day those of us who have been left behind will see your light once again and then we will be
together once more, but until that day arrives, rest in peace.’
We wander to your graveside,
And place each flower with care,
For the Son and Brother we love so dearly,
Is peacefully sleeping there.
If memories keep us together,
Then we are never far apart,
From early morn to silent night,

Angel Mum’s
We have shared our tears and our sorrow,
We have given encouragement to each other,
Given hope for a brighter tomorrow,
We share the title of grieving Mother.
Some of us lost older Daughters or Sons,
Who we watched grow over the years,
Some have lost their babies before their lives begun,
But no matter the age we cry the same tears.
We understand each other’s pain,
The bond we share is very strong,
With each other there is no need to explain,
The path we walk is hard and long.
Our children brought us together,
They didn't want us on this journey alone,
They knew we needed each other,
To survive the pain of them being gone.
So take my hand my friend,
We may stumble and fall along the way,
But we'll get up and try again,
Because together we can make it day by day.
We can give each other hope,
We'll create a place where we belong,
Together we will find ways to cope,

So Little Time
We had so little time to share,
Too soon, I had to leave.
I know how much you love me,
I know how much you grieve.
I know how sharp your pain is,
I feel the aching in your hearts.
My life so quickly ended
Before it barely had a start.
I remember how you held me,
And kissed my face and hands,
You cuddled me so gently;
But, God had other plans.

I am a tiny angel... I'm smaller than your thumb;
I live in peoples pockets, that's where I have my fun.
I don't suppose you've seen me, I'm too tiny to detect;
Though I'm with you all the time, I doubt we've ever met.
Before I was an Angel...I was a fairy in a flower;
God, Himself, hand-picked me, And gave me Angel power.
Now God has many Angels That He trains in Angel pools;
We become His eyes,ears,and hands,we become His special tools.
And because God is so busy, with way too much to do;
He said that my assignment was to keep close watch on you.
Then He tucked me in your pocket, blessing you with Angel care;
Saying I must never leave you, And I vowed to stay right there!
